Youth Worker Sabbath 2020

Update: Due to COVID-19, Youth Worker Sabbath 2020 has been canceled. This difficult decision was made out of health and safety concerns for our participants and facilitators.
Every effort will be made to ensure Youth Worker Sabbath 2021 proceeds as planned, and will be a welcome respite after your long year of working hard in Youth Ministry.

August 6-8, 2020

Youth Worker Sabbath offers a time to refresh and re-energize after a long summer. All Youth Workers are invited to come fellowship, share best practices, rest, and recharge. We will laugh, learn, and worship together. A schedule is in place; however, you are invited to use the time as you need.

We will be staying at the beautiful Summers Mill Retreat Center overlooking Salado Creek. The address is 7441 FM 1123, Belton, TX, 76513.  Our facilitator this year is Beth Johnson.

Youth Worker Sabbath is $125 per person (less $25 Early Bird Discount if registered and paid by July 10, 2020). Your price includes five meals, and lodging for two nights (two persons to a room). We will try to accommodate room requests on a first come, first served basis. Registration closes on July 31, 2020.

To reserve your spot, and take advantage of the Early Bird rate, your payment must be postmarked (or received online) by July 10th. Registrations without payment are incomplete. If you do not wish to pay online, payments made be mailed to Central Texas Conference of the UMC, 3200 E. Rosedale St., Ft. Worth, TX, 76105 (Attn: MaDora Ratliff). Please indicate in the remittance advice that this payment is for the Youth Worker Sabbath.
