Creativity is a vital component of a successful children’s ministry under the most “normal” of circumstances. It is exponentially so during these COVID-19 times as churches look for ways to keep our youngest disciples engaged and experiencing the love of their church family. While there are many ways to reach out to children and families via the technology of today, there are just some things that can’t be done via a webpage, social media site of a video conference call – things like annual Easter Egg Hunts. That’s why churches like Trinity UMC in Arlington decided that if the coronavirus is going to keep the children of the church and community from coming to them, they would (safely and socially distantly) go to the children.
