Donations to the Bishop Mike & Jolynn Lowry Scholarship Fund Are Still Being Accepted

The Central Texas Conference Episcopacy Committee is excited to welcome you and yours this Sunday, Oct. 24 at 4 p.m. as the Central Texas Conference gathers to celebrate and honor the 13-plus years of ministry and episcopal leadership of Bishop Mike and Mrs. Jolynn Lowry. The event is being most hospitably hosted at Arborlawn UMC (Fort Worth) with a worship service beginning at 4 p.m. and a "come and go" reception to immediately follow. 


Please note that Arborlawn UMC will also be hosting it's 2021 Trunk-or-Treat event this Sunday on its Southwest parking lot. Please plan to park on the east side in the lots on the Briarhaven Road side of the campus. Parking is available in the Arborlawn lots on that side and at Doxology Church across the street. (Please see the map to the right. Light blue areas are the available parking for the retirement celebration. Click on the map for a larger version). A cart is available to help transport folks from the Doxology lot if needed.

There is still time for you to make a donation to the Lowry Scholarship Fund in honor of Bishop and Jolynn Lowry. The Lowry Scholarship has been established to support students from the CTC planning to attend or already enrolled in one of the approved Methodist seminaries. If you would like to donate to the you may do so by sending a check with Lowry Scholarship in the memo line to the Central Texas Conference Service Center, Attn: Finance Team, P.O.
