Early Bird Registration Extended for GBPHB Clergy Benefits Academy 2011

by Vance Morton*

The General Board of Pension and Health Benefits (GBPHB) sent out word earlier today that they have decided to extend the Early Bird registration for the 2011 Clergy Benefits Academy through next Friday, September 9, 2011 a.d. Those registering by the Sept. 9 deadline will receive a discounted rate of $119 ($209.00 with spouse), the fee increases to $149.00 ($239.00 with spouse) after Sept. 8.

What do you get for that fee? Good question – according to the good folks at the GBPHB the fee includes:
  • breakfast and lunch on Tuesday and Wednesday,
  • refreshment breaks, and
  • Academy materials.
The 10th annual Clergy Benefits Academy event is Oct. 17-19, in San Antonio, Texas and is open to clergy of all ages (see, it says so right there on the official web ad above). For more information on the Clergy Benefits Academy 2011 or to register, please visit gbophb.org or click the graphic to the right. You can also register by clicking this link (or at least you should, it would open for me in Explorer, but did just fine in Firefox).
