New Executive Director for Glen Lake Camp Announced

The Central Texas Conference and Glen Lake Camp and Retreat Center have named Natalie Davidson as the new Executive Director for the camp.
 
Natalie brings a wealth of experience in camping ministry as well as a passion for the outdoors and leadership, team building and organizational skills to the Glen Lake team. For the last six years, Natalie has worked as a director at the camp and retreat center, most recently as the camp’s director of Operations, where she was instrumental in managing staff, daily operations and programming/planning summer camps and retreats at Glen Lake and Still Water Lodge. Prior to joining the Glen Lake team, Natalie worked as a national recruiter for from Asbury Theological Seminary and served as youth director for several churches in the CTC. She has a Master of Christian Arts in Education from Asbury Theological Seminary.
 
“I’ve had the opportunity to work beside Natalie the entire summer season,” said Mike Ford, interim executive director of Glen Lake Camp. “She has a complete grasp on every area of program and operations while understanding the big picture. She demonstrated her ability to make solid decisions and lead the staff effectively. I know what it takes to lead at Glen Lake and I believe Natalie will move this ministry to new heights.”
 
Regarding the official announcement of Natalie as the camp’s new Executive Director, Bishop Lowry stated, “We are delighted to have Natalie become a part of the Central Texas Conference staff as the Executive Director of Glen Lake Camp. She brings a heart for Christ, a depth of experience at Glen Lake and an enthusiastic skill set. I also want to publically say how much we appreciate Mike Ford for his outstanding work as the interim director.”
