Bishop Saenz Formally Calls a Special Session of Annual Conference on Sept. 17
Dear Clergy and Lay Members to the Central Texas Annual Conference:
In accordance with our standing rules (CTC Guiding Principles and Best Practices) and ¶603.5 of the United Methodist Book of Discipline, I hereby call for a special session of the Central Texas Annual Conference on Sept. 17, 2022, beginning at 9:30 a.m. CDT. The special session will be conducted in person at Arborlawn United Methodist Church (5001 Briarhaven Road, Fort Worth, TX 76109) and shall include the following business:

Consideration of resolutions ratifying the disaffiliation of local churches from the United Methodist Church per the provisions of ¶2553.

Consideration of a 2023 budget for the Central Texas Annual Conference.
Further information regarding the session and its business will be sent to members of the Annual Conference and posted on the conference website in the coming months.
