Please join us for the Clergy Spouse Luncheonduring the Annual Conference of the Central Texas Conference Monday, June 9 at 12:30 p.m. at First UMC Mansfield!
FOOD! A super lunch catered by Oliver’s Fine Foods will consist of a salad, hot entrée, mashed potatoes, green beans, bread, dessert and tea for $12.00 per person. RSVP and make checks payable to CTC Spouses Organization and mail to Edna Davis, 9250 SE CR 2140, Corsicana, TX 75109. Edna can be reached at ednadavis39@gmail.com or 903-874-6194. Please RSVP by May 30th.
FELLOWSHIP! We also need you and your local church’s assistance in collecting travel size items for hygiene kits for those in need. Bring the items with you and we will have time to put these kits together during our fellowship after lunch for those that are able to participate. Travel-size items needed for the hygiene kits are:
Shampoo Toothpaste
Conditioner Toothbrush
Lotion Gallon plastic bags
Soap Small sewing kit
Optional items: shower gel, men and women toiletries
FUN! See how First UMC Mansfield is serving their community by reaching out through the Wesley Mission Center Thrift Store on the campus of their church. You can sign up to work in the shop for any time frame 10 am - 6 pm, Monday, Tuesday or Wednesday (or just walk through and observe) at your leisure during Annual Conference. It is definitely a rewarding experience to see this group in action!
