Installation Service for Bishop Saenz Set for Feb. 19
The Central Texas and North Texas Conference Episcopacy Committees have announced February 19 as the official date for the Service of Installation of Bishop Ruben Saenz Jr.
Bishop Saenz was assigned to be the episcopal leader of both the Central and North Texas Conferences by the 2022 South Central Jursidictional Conference and has been serving in that capacity since Jan. 1, 2023. The service will be held in the main sanctuary of University Park United Methodist Church, Dallas, Texas (upumc.org) beginning at 4 p.m., with a reception immediately following. All are welcome and encouraged to attend - no RSVP or registration is required. Because University Park is located in a more urban area of Dallas (4024 Caruth Blvd., Dallas, 75225 - map available here), parking lot availability may be limited. While there is typically several "street parking" spaces available, carpooling is suggested.
