On Tuesday, Feb. 25, Bishop Lowry kicked off his latest teaching series titled The Cross and Resurrection. The video teaching is the first of a four session class designed to be used during by individuals and/or small groups during the Lenten season. The focus of the sessions is to look theologically and the importance of the cross and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. For Christians, the cross and the resurrection of Jesus is a central and essential part of their faith – their doctrine. This first session it titled "The Scandal of the Cross" – something first century Christians knew well.
