Central Texas Conference Service Center (CTCSC) team members giving a report during the 2015 Annual Conference that includes a PowerPoint presentation will use the official 2015 PowerPoint template. Those not directly affiliated with the CTCSC are more than welcome to employ the same template to their presentation.

You can download the official template by clicking the AC15 graphic (left), or requesting it from the CTC Communications & IT team

PowerPoint presentations must be submitted  by June 2. You may email them to vance@ctcumc.org; send a copy on a drive or CD/DVD to Vance Morton, 464 Bailey Ave., Fort Worth, Texas, 76107 or post the presentation to a public file share site for download. (Please email  vancemorton@ctcumc.org the download instructions before 5 p.m. CDT, June 2.)

If you choose to not use the official template please note the following requirements and guidelines when building your presentation. Especially if you plan on using an existing presentation from other events that is in a square / 4:3 scale format.
  • The screens and projection system at White’s Chapel are set up to use the 16:9 wide-screen format. As such, all PowerPoint presentations should be built using a 16:9 wide-screen format.

  • If you have an existing presentation that is in the 4:3 format, please convert it to 16:9 if at all possible. If you need assistance with this conversion, email julianhobdy@ctcumc.org or vancemorton@ctcumc.org.

  • Please include a title slide with your presentation.

  • Please use larger fonts to ensure that everyone in the room can read your text. 24 point is the recommended minimum size.

  • Ensure that you have obtained all the appropriate permissions and rights for any images, logos and other multimedia content incorporated in your presentation.

  • Make sure your font contrasts well against your background. Since the lights on the stage and in the room can wash out your slide a bit, it is important that you do not use light fonts on light backgrounds or dark on dark.

  • Please submit your PowerPoint presentations to the Central Texas Conference Service Center (CTCSC) by June 2.

If you’re presentation includes an embedded video, that presentation must be received by May 27.
