South Central Jurisdictional Conference 2016

The 2016 South Central Jurisdictional Conference will be held July 13-16 at the Hyatt Hotel in Wichita, Kansas, with the Great Plains Annual Conference serving as the host.

The theme for 2016 is Rejoice in the Harvest.

In the United States of America, The United Methodist Church is divided into five areas known as jurisdictions: Northeastern, Southeastern, North Central, South Central and Western. The Central Texas Conference is a member of the South Central Jurisdiction (SCJC). Every four years the jurisdictional conferences meet to elect new bishops and select members of general boards and agencies and vote on legislation to provide support and leadership training for the annual conferences.
