General & Jurisdictional Conference 2016

2016 General Conference of UMCGeneral Conference, the top legislative body for The United Methodist Church, will meet May 10 - 20, 2016 in Portland, Oregon.

General Conference, which meets once every four years, can revise church law, as well as adopt resolutions on current moral, social, public policy and economic issues. It also approves plans and budgets for church-wide programs.
