2008 Discipline ¶1313.6 – The Mission Personnel program area exists to serve the Church in the identification, recruitment, selection, preparation, training, assignment, supervision, and support of mission personnel for short and long-term assignments. It also exists to assist in the identification of opportunities for Christian service in representing mission personnel concerns before the General Board of Global Ministries.
