Energizing and Equipping Local Churches
in Making Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World
Local Church Partnership Support
The Central Texas Conference Center for Mission Support is committed to our conference mission of “Energizing and Equipping Local Churches to Make Disciples of Jesus Christ for the Transformation of the World.” One of the ways we hope to do that is by offering local churches assistance in developing new ministries or re-energizing existing ministries that make disciples and transform the world. To that end, we have committed substantial financial resources to be available for local churches in these undertakings. To begin a conversation with the Mission Leadership Team about the availability of resources, please thoroughly complete the Center for Mission Support Ministry Covenant Form. You will notice that the covenant form asks you to:
- describe the ministry you propose and its relevance to the Four Focus Areas and Five Practices of Fruitful Churches;
- define your leadership team;
- identify existing resources;
- and develop measurement tools that you will use over the course of this ministry.
Please note that these funds are not available to become a permanent part of a ministry budget, but are designed to jump-start or revitalize ministry that specifically addresses ministry in one of the areas of focus relevant to our center:
- Engaging in Ministry with the Poor;
- Stamping out Killer Diseases by Improving Health Globally;
- Risk-Taking Mission and Service;
- and Intentional Faith Development.
There are no deadlines to apply for these funds. They will be awarded as funds are available; as relevant ministry is presented and approved; and as the criteria established by the Mission Leadership Team for each specific request is met. We are certain that God is at work in our conference planting dreams and visions in the hearts of the faithful and we look forward to partnering with our local churches as you respond to those calls.
