Great Day of Service

Join Methodist Youth from around the Central Texas Conference for a 1 day mission event on Saturday, April 10th, 2010, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

This year we will be operating out of 3 locations:

Metroplex: Meet at Polytechnic UMC

Every person in attendance must complete an Individual Liability and Release form.  You may mail these in with your Group Registration, or bring them with you the morning of the event.  Click here for Individual Liability and Release Forms

Metroplex Location Details:

We will open at Polytechnic UMC with breakfast and worship, then break off into groups to serve the many ministries of the Metro Board of Missions. 

This year we will be providing boxed lunches to take with you to your site.  The cost is $5 per person. 

Please let us know if your out-of-town group would like to consider spending Friday night at a host church closer to Polytechnic. 

 

 

Waco Location Details:

Cost is free, but we ask that you bring a brown bag lunch. Please prayerfully consider inviting your entire congregation to participate by taking up a collection to help with project supply costs.

Here is information and registration forms for YEAH Paint Day. The registration deadline is March 12

YEAH 2010 - Information sheet for adults and youth
YEAH Registration 2010 - Registration and release form. Every participant (youth or adult) completes this form.
YEAH Leader 2010 - Project Leader Registration form. Each church needs at least one.
YEAH Church Reg 2010 - Church Registration form. Church contact person completes this and sends in with registration forms and fee.
District_Student_Leadership_Team_Application_2010 -  Youth application for leadership positions. Enclose with registrations.

Registration Info

March 12 - Registration due for youth, project leaders and adult workers

  $30 per person which includes t-shirt, snacks, meals, and project expenses

  Make checks payable to Temple District UMC (No charge for project leaders.)
