Outreach Mission Council is responsible for carrying out the mandates of the General Board of Global Ministries  and the General Board of Church and Society . The Outreach Council focuses on engaging congregations in responding to pressing social issues and being with members of our Church's connection in God's mission around the world, while inspiring others about mission outreach in their churches.

Outreach ministries are those services, activities, experiences, and interactions with people in need in the name of Jesus Christ. Usually they extend beyond your own congregation into the community in which you are located. As United Methodists, our outreach even extends around the world through the connection.
