FIRST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, CLEBURNE First UMC Cleburne is currently accepting resumes for the position of Director of Music Ministry. First UMC is a growing church family, 400 at worship, located 30 miles south of Fort Worth. Our music program is traditionally based but with occasions for blended music offerings. The candidate must have the flexibility to consider, assess, and implement new and innovative methods and programs to enhance the musical ministry and worship of the church. This is a part-time position with the possibility (or future consideration) of becoming a full-time Ministry position. The Director will have the primary responsibility for the planning, organization, recruiting, execution, and evaluation of the music ministry program under the supervision of the Senior Pastor, and directly supervises the Organist and Pianist. Responsibilities include the areas of choirs and bell choirs for all ages. Additional information on responsibilities, including planning, essential functions, and core competencies are available upon request. I am safe sanctuary certified, and have worked with as small of group of 4 students to a larger group of 60-70. While I currently reside in the Houston area, I am willing to relocate..
